Central Kanazawa

Much of the city was destroyed when the Hiroshi Clan battled the Yōkai during the Edo Period of Japan. It took many years to rebuild the city, but Kanazawa is a traditional looking city that is second largest to Kyoto. The center of the city is Kanazawa Castle. A lot of the areas surrounding the castle are small shops, shrines, and temples. The Kanazawa Castle Park is nearby and itâs a very serene place to visit. |

Chaya is a traditional place of feasts and entertainment. There are a number of shops, stalls, and other establishments dedicated to entertainment and filling the stomachs of its guests. The Chaya District is separated into three districts: Higashi, Nishi, and Kazuemachi. Each district has its own purpose. |

The living district is where the citizens of Kanazawa live peacefully. The Living District is protected by the Onmyōji that govern it. Onmyōji often patrol the streets of the Living District for hungry YÅkai. |

Mount Hakusan is a dormant volcano and is one of the highest mountains in Western Japan. Mount Hakusan is overrun with Yōkai. Humans and OnmyÅji should think twice about taking a stroll up the mountainside. Those who do dare to climb the mountainside will find a rocky path, which leads all the way up to the Natadera Temple. |

The Midori Shi Forest means "green death forest". This lush forest has large rocks, a ton of trees, and other wildlife. The atmosphere of the Midori Shi Forest is very murky. This is because of the Yōkai that live inside it. Visitors that travel through the forest often end up food for Yōkai or lost. |

Hakusan City

Hakusan City used to be inhabited by Humans but was seized by the Yōkai King and his forces. The City is now known as the City of Yōkai and is a safe haven for all Yōkai. The King of Yōkai is living in Hakusan City until his death. Hakusan City is protected by many powerful Yōkai. The City is as lively as the Yōkai that live in it. To Humans Hakusan is just a dormant city, but Onmyōji know its real identity. |
